ASA entered last weeks matchup with Milford as the #19 ranked team in the NJCAA. After a 10-6 victory, ASA climbed up two spots in this weeks NJCAA rankings poll to #17. ASA climbed past Scottsdale and Navarro who both lost their matchups last week.
The 7-1 ASA College Avengers are now Bowl eligible after five matchups against junior college teams. ASA matched up with Georgia Military College, Hudson Valley CC, Lackawanna College, Erie CC and Monroe College during the 2017 season, going 4-1 against those teams. The sole loss came in double overtime where ASA fell short 38-39 against Georgia Military College during a neutral site game played at James Madison University. Bids for 2017 NJCAA bowl games open on November, 14th.

The Avengers are currently on a season long five-game win streak. ASA is the highest ranked team in the NEFC currently at 17th in the nation. According to the NEFC, this weeks poll appearance by the Avengers sets the 187th consecutive NJCAA poll where a NEFC team has received a ranking, dating back to October 2003.
- At his current completion percentage (70.9), Labanowitz would set a record in that category while his 255.6 yards per game in total offense and 177.6 passing efficiency rating would rank second. (Source: The Northeast Football Conference).
- Labanowitz's 495 passing yards against Erie (10/14) are the most in a NEFC contest since the start of the 2014 season. (Source: The Northeast Football Conference).
- ASA quarterback Stone Labanowitz leads the NJCAA in passing efficiency at 177.6 and in completion percentage (70.9 percent). He is eighth with 19 passing touchdowns.
